Early screening to facilitate timely support
Research has shown clearly that catching issues (such as postnatal depression or breastfeeding difficulty) early leads to better outcomes for both the mother and baby. We perform screening regularly during pregnancy and soon after your baby is born to ensure you are getting all the help and support you need as soon as you need it.

A team-based approach to your care
Our approach combines midwifery-led maternity care with support from GP Obstetricians and other maternity health services such as women’s health physiotherapists, psychologists and lactation consultants. This ensures you are receiving the best of all worlds, in a way that is individualised to your specific needs.

Excellence in care being affordable to all
Western Obstetrics believes in the importance of excellent of care being available to everyone, for this reason we provide standard pregnancy care with a GP Obstetrician and Midwife at an affordable price*. While there is a cost per consultation, some services associated with your care will be bulk billed. While some additional charges do apply for non-standard services and consultations with our allied health providers, we try to limit the gap where possible.
