Emma-Vitale

Dr Emma Vitale is a General Practitioner with a special interest in Women’s and Children’s Health, in particular early pregnancy and postnatal care.

Emma completed her training in Western Australia and has been fortunate enough to work throughout Perth but also parts of rural and remote Western Australia.

Emma realised her interest in women’s health during her medical training, and this led her to work at King Edwards Memorial Hospital where she was able to gain valuable experience in tertiary maternity care. During this period, she achieved her accreditation in Implanon and IUD insertions.

Emma has since completed a graduate Certificates in Reproductive and Sexual health as well as a Certificate in Child Health through Sydney’s well renown Westmead Hospital for Children. She is a member of ASHM and regularly attends updates in sexual health medicine.

Emma works as a GP in Perth southern suburbs and as medical lead in education for the Royal Australia College of General Practitioners where she is involved in training future GPs.

Outside of work, Emma loves spending time with her young family and exploring the great outdoors.
